Naveed Ahmed

Naveed set up Goldteam UK Limited in 1997 whilst contracting in an electronics manufacturing organisation. After gradually developing this contract to sole supplier status in he acknowledged the need of finding good quality candidates and cost effective recruitment solutions for employers. Naveed gained excellent experience while he was working in various positions for Blue Chip companies such as Alcatel, Racal and Panasonic whilst successfully set up and managed an outsourced team of PCB assemblers and QA personnel for Racal Instruments. Naveed setup Goldteam Recruitment Limited in August 2002 and since than Goldteam Recruitment Limited has been on an upward spiral of success and has huge future plans under current Directorship. Using his expertise gained throughout his career, Naveed wants to continue to develop simpler and cost effective solutions for Employers and Candidates whilst keeping in line with Goldteam Recruitment Limited mission statement.
Mike Walmsley
Non-Exec Director
Mike has over 20 year’s recruitment experience and is considered to be one of the UK’s leading recruitment experts. He was instrumental in growing the successful international recruitment business Parker Bridge, where he was one of the initial drivers before subsequently becoming Managing Director and helping to grow the company to over 100 staff in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Mike is the Chairman of Recruitment Training Productions and through them has authored & presented the world’s largest recruitment-specific DVD learning & development video range. He is an expert guest speaker at annual conferences throughout the world and has given keynote speeches and addresses at 4 of the world's largest recruitment association conferences: NAPS, RCSA, APSO and the REC (USA, Australasia, South Africa and UK recruitment associations).
Rafiq Chohan
Consultant to the Board
Rafiq Chohan is an Economic Development Professional. He is Vice President of the Chief Economic Development Officers Society. He has worked as a Business Adviser for Business Link and trained by Warwick and Durham University Business schools. He also sits on the National Business Link Strategy Group. He has spoken at Local, Regional and National conferences on enterprise and economic development. Rafiq’s role at Goldteam is to provide strategic business advice to the board as well as the business plan for the company
Andrew Williamson
Non-Exec Director
Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant and BA Economics and is experienced in advising a diverse mix of privately owned domestic and international businesses as well as roles in industry as Head of Finance.
With 20 years’ professional experience gained in both the accountancy and commercial sectors, Andrew brings a wealth of experience to this role in advising management teams, private equity firms and banks. In recent years he has been increasingly focused on M&A work; helping entrepreneurs with business disposals, raising finance, business acquisitions and joint ventures.
Andrew also holds Non-Executive Director position of several privately owned high growth companies and is much valued member of Goldteam strategic management.
Karen Furminger

Karen’s steady career progression over the last 15 years has enabled her to enjoy key roles in different organizations and sectors. These have included Department Management, Duty Management, Store Trainer and Personnel and HR Manager working for well known high street retailers including the UK’s number one supermarket. This experience enabled her to move into the manufacturing sector and take her expertise and replicate her success to add real bottom line value. Her strengths are implementing solid process and procedures, developing potential and building capability to underpin company values. As a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development she now brings her skills and knowledge to Goldteam in her role of General Manager. “I believe developing people potential is a huge enabler and motivator for achievement. This coupled with an excellent strategy and top level industry leading resources will guarantee our continued success.
