JOB TITLE:  RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT (PERM ROLES)

REPORTING TO:  General Manager

LOCATION: Slough

WORK LEVEL: 2/6
SALARY BAND: £18 - 24k per annum


ROLE SUMMARY:

This role ensures the continuing success and growth of the organization by building a profitable candidate and client portfolio; securing vacancies and placing top quality candidates.  This role takes every opportunity to maximise business and profits by employing known sales techniques.

This role has the following responsibilities:

            
  • Build and maintain lasting customer relationships, ensuring daily/weekly contact with all key contacts/stakeholders.
  • Work closely with candidates building lasting relationships and improving retention.  Manage candidate performance, dealing with performance and statutory provisions
  • Take responsibility for day to day issues with customers and candidates.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customers business, infrastructure, key contacts and stakeholders, specific requirements, terms of business and service level agreements, training needs, associated documentation and audit standards and results
  • Ensure customer sites/requirements meet company and statutory requirements and audit regularly keeping accurate records.
  • Measure ongoing satisfaction against expectations, report findings and produce action plans to deliver sustainable and consistent improvement
  • Monitor market place for competitors activity benchmarking our standards and proposing changes to senior management
  • Identify opportunities to increase business, increasing departmental profits and profitability in line with company targets.
  • Meet order requirements and fulfillment levels, checking accuracy and approving final invoices/adjustments and ensuring efficient candidate utility against legislative standards (WTR). 
  • Support departmental Resource Assistant, monitor performance and keep GM informed.  Contribute to appraisal process providing feedback.
  • Produce comprehensive departmental KPI data, measuring revenue, turnover, hours, retention, efficiency, productivity, fulfillment, satisfaction, profitability, compliance
  • Coordinate and lead customer audits, ensuring high standards are met and maintained and closing out actions.
  • Monitor long standing accounts, track review dates and ensure adherence to SLA
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date with controlled document practice

CURRENT SCALE AND AUTHORITY OF THE ROLE:

  • Responsible for operational activity from 1-3 months ahead.
  • Confidential/sensitive information about the organization and external clients
  • Current portfolio of 10 hotel accounts with estimated annual turnover of £1.5m
  • Approximately 150 candidates within division

  • Extensive travel across client base

  • Liaising with clients and candidates out of hours

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR ROLE:

            Essential for the role;
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Exemplary spoken and written English language skills
  • Solve problems and provide practical solutions
            Desirable for the role;
  • Good sales and presentation skills
  • Demonstrable experience within hospitality industry
  • Demonstrates best practice activities to achieve success in role
  • Sound Microsoft office skills and knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and usage/utilisation of Goldtime system (internal candidates)
  • High levels of personal presentation standards, business dress
