Goldteam Recruitment Limited achieves REC audited status. Marcia Roberts, the newly appointed Chief Executive of REC made her first official engagement to open the prestigious new offices for Goldteam recruitment. Marcia said “It is an absolute delight to have the honor to both open the office and award Goldteam with the highest commendation that REC can give – REC Audited Status”. All of REC’s members commit to a Code of Practice but Goldteam have been externally audited by the professional advisers to REC and can prove that they apply all of the legislative standards that an agency must specifically commit to. Clients and candidates can be assured that when dealing with an agency that has audited standards they are dealing with the very best. Given the fact that the British industry loses £1 million a day in poor recruitment and the fact that the cost of defending an employment tribunal when it all goes wrong averages 10K per claim,  I would urge all employers to only use an agency that has committed to the industry standards. Marcia stated “There are over 14000 agencies in UK out of which only 100 have achieved this accreditation and I don’t think our approval could have gone to a more deserving and professional member.
