On Sunday 2nd December 2007, a majority of Goldteam Recruitment’s staff attended at the F1-K Indoor Karting Track event located on the Coln Industrial Estate in Colnbrook, to spend the day go karting. After an initial safety and information briefing the staff separated into their two person race teams.

These were: Saima and Julie – The Angels of Darkness: Atif and Israr - The A team: Vimal and Germinder - The Bounty Hunters : Roksana and Kevin - Drunk and dangerous: Naveed Sr and Yasar - GT Rec: Usman and Umar - Max Col: Joanna and Katarzyna - The Pol(ish) Express: Naveed Jr and Anna Ahmed – The United Nations: Aryan and Joanna - Trinidad and last but by no means least, Bal and Shiva – The Whateva!

As may be seen from the accompanying photos, a hectic, colourful and noisy day followed, culminating in the following results: The Winning kart team was that of Usman and Umar, of The Max Collection, a "spectacular" win - please raise your glasses, gentlemen!

The Second place went to Naveed Sr and Yasar, of the GT Rec,

The third place went to Roksana and Kevin, of the Drunk and Dangerous! Well done these teams!

Best individual results were: In First place – a highly focused Usman! (Is there no stopping this kart driver?) Second place went to Kevin Delvino, and in Third place was Atif Azhar. Well done all of you guys!

A special mention goes for Israr, who really lost his head over a Track Marshal’s decision, and then to compound it, also lost his helmet!

The day would not be complete, without a mention of poor Julie, the sole injury of the day’s karting, who actually succeeded in having her team mate Katarzyna’s go kart run her over, while she was still sitting in her own go kart, how the heck did that happen, Julie? Not what you call good teamwork!
