This role has the following responsibilities:
Identifying target clients, arranging business development meetings and presenting Gold teams unique offerings in order to win large temporary contract business from competitors
Writing tenders and proposals and proactively tracking review dates for prospect preferred supplier listings
Maintain master vendor contracts/client portfolio
Meeting and exceeding agreed personal and team targets, keeping and presenting clear kpi performance data (including board reports)
Delivering outstanding levels of customer service both to clients and customers
Maximising sales opportunities from existing clients through pro-active account management / client meetings
Recording details of all client contact on our database and sending follow up correspondence
CURRENT SCALE AND AUTHORITY OF THE ROLE:
Responsible for delivering £10m per annum, integral element of company growth plan from current £11m turnover to £100m by 2014
Involvement and participation in identifying future business strategy
Confidential/sensitive information about the organization and external clients

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR ROLE:
Essential for the role;
Substantial, demonstrable experience of success within recruitment environment
Proven record of delivering regular, major sales growth through new business development
A “net worker” and a "closer."
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent sales and presentation skills
Exemplary spoken and written English language skills
Desirable for the role;
Demonstrable experience in managing multiple complex accounts/master vendor contracts and portfolios
Ideally had success as business development manager or senior recruitment consultant with portfolio of exclusive clients
Demonstrates best practice activities to achieve success in role
Sound Microsoft office skills and knowledge
Strong knowledge and usage/utilisation of Goldtime system (internal candidates)
High levels of personal presentation standards, business dress
