JOB TITLE:  RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT (PERM ROLES)

REPORTING TO:  SALES MANAGER

LOCATION: Slough

START DATE: 

RECRUITING MANAGER: Karen Furminger

WORK LEVEL: 3/6
SALARY BAND: £18 – 22k per annum/OTE £35k


ROLE SUMMARY:

This role ensures the continuing success and growth of the organization by building a profitable candidate and client base portfolio; securing vacancies and placing top quality candidates.  This role takes every opportunity to maximise business and profits by employing known sales techniques.

This role epitomizes the values of the organization and reflects ‘what good looks like’ with regards operating practices and procedures.


This role has the following responsibilities:

            Identifying target clients and candidates;
  • Arranging meetings with qualified decision makers
  • Presenting Goldteam’s unique offerings in order to win business from competitors.
  • Closing all meetings with clear commitment.
  • Maximise opportunities to increase network, attend targeted appropriate events, utilize networking sites/tools, client and candidate meetings out of hours/social and corporate events.
  • Build and maintain full data base
  • Use opportunity to back fill future vacancies
  • Recording details of all client contact on our database and sending follow up correspondence
  • Work closely with Resource Consultants to ensure efficient, effective and accurate matching
  • Maximising sales opportunities from existing clients and candidates through pro-active account management / client meetings/referrals/TSI techniques
            Manage and maintain client relationship;
  • Take full job details, produce top quality job specifications
  • Match accurately to reduce issues and refunds
  • Market candidates using templates to ensure quality, follow up calls/debrief conducted
  • Verbally reference candidates, seek referrals
  • Track and conduct review process
            Manager and maintain candidate relationship;
  • Source highest standard and interview face to face
  • Verbally reference candidates, maximising opportunity to generate leads
  • Produce outstanding CVs
  • Brief candidates on role and business fully, role play and practice exercises where appropriate
  • Track careers, head hunt and turn candidates into clients
            Improve personal performance
  • Meeting and exceeding agreed personal and team targets, keeping and presenting clear kpi performance data
  • Keep own training and development up to date, refreshing skills and seeking feedback regularly.
  • Delivering outstanding levels of customer service both to clients and customers

CURRENT SCALE AND AUTHORITY OF THE ROLE:

  • Responsible for delivering integral element of company growth plan from current £11m turnover to £100m by 2014
  • Confidential/sensitive information about the organization and external clients

SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE ROLE:

  • Extensive travel across UK
  • Flexible working hours/days required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR ROLE:

            Essential for the role;
  • A “net worker” and a "closer."
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent sales and presentation skills
  • Exemplary spoken and written English language skill
            Desirable for the role;
  • Demonstrable experience of success within recruitment environment
  • Proven record of delivering regular sales growth
  • Demonstrates best practice activities to achieve success in role
  • Sound Microsoft office skills and knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and usage/utilisation of Goldtime system (internal candidates)
  • High levels of personal presentation standards, business dress
